BOIL SEAFOOD IN GARLIC BUTTER

 





*INGREDIENTS :


• 3 lemons for shared use

• 1/2 cup Old Bay seasoning plus more for garnish

• 8 crushed garlic cloves

• 1 onion and cut into 6 pieces

• 1 pound Yukon Gold potatoes, halved

• 4 corn on the cob cut into 3 to 4 inch pieces

• 3 lobster tails

• 1 pound of cleaned clams

• 1 pound precooked crab legs

• 1 pound smok sausage cut into 1 inch pieces, kielbasa or andouille are preferred

• 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp (leave the tails on)

• 3 tablespoons of butter

• 2 tsp chopped parsley


*INSTRUCTIONS:


Cut 2 of lemons to wedges. Cut the rest of the lemon into wedges and reserve the wedges for decoration.

Fill a large saucepan with 14 to 16 cups of water. Place the 2 quartered lemons in the water with the Old Bay seasoning, garlic and onion. Bring to a boil.

Add the potatoes to the pan and cook for 8 minutes. Adding lobster tails and cooking for 5 minutes.

Adding clams, crab and corn also cook for 5 minutes. Add the prawns and sausage and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Drain seafood mixture from pan, reserving 1 cup broth.

Melting butter in  bowl and whisk it to reserved broth. Pour broth on the seafood mixture.

Garnished with chopped parsley also lemon wedges. Sprinkle with additional Old Bay seasoning to taste, then serve immediately.
