Old classic goulash




*ingredients:


°1 lb. minced meat

°1 small onion, diced

°1 teaspoon of salt

°1/2 teaspoon pepper

°1 teaspoon minced garlic

°1 1/2 cups uncooked pasta

°2 cups of water

°14.5 ounces stewed tomatoes, undrained

°8 ounces of tomato sauce

°2 teaspoons of sugar

°1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning


*directions:


Brown ground beef and onion cubes in a large frying pan. Drain off excess fat if necessary and add it back to the skillet. Season the meat with salt and pepper.


- Cook over medium-low heat over moderate heat until the elbow macaroni is cooked to desired consistency, about 10 minutes. If the pasta is soaking up all the liquid and not quite al dente, add a little more water.


- Add salt and pepper to taste. Top with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
